Ran Rahav, the Honorary Consul of Marshal Islands in Israel, and his wife Hila, hosted 12 Ambassadors to the United Nations for a festive dinner on the occasion of their visit to Israel.
The Ambassadors were the guests of the State and the American Jewish Committee (AJC), which organized their visit in Israel in collaboration with Israel's ambassador to the UN, Mr. Danny Danon.
The Ambassadors toured all parts of Israel and met with the Speaker of the Knesset, Mr. Yuli Edelstein and with Prime Minister Netanyahu in the Knesset in Jerusalem.
The dinner was attended by Ms. Amatlain Kabua, ambassador of the Marshal Islands, Ms. Laura Flores, ambassador of Panama, Mr. Vladimir Lupan, ambassador of Moldova, Mr. Milan Milanović, ambassador of Serbia, Mr. Anatolio Ndong Mba, ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, Mr. Caleb Otto, ambassador of the Republic of Palau, Mr. Earle Courtenay Rattray, ambassador of Jamaica, Mr. Elbio Rosselli, Ambassador of Uruguay, Mr. Virachai Plasai, ambassador of Thailand, Mr. Milos Vukasinovic, ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Lewis Brown, ambassador of Liberia and Mr. Tuvako Manongi, Ambassador of Tanzania.
Mr. Yoav Galant, Israel's minister of construction and housing, addressed the guests and Danny Danon, Israel's ambassador to the UN who brought the delegation to Israel together with the AJC greeted the ambassadors too.
The guests had a nice surprise when a telephone call came in during the event. On the other end of the line was Israel's prime minister and foreign minister, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, who wished the ambassadors well on the conclusion of their successful visit to Israel.
