Traditional reception in honor of the serving ambassadors in Israel and honorary consuls
It is an honor to be at the President's House in Jerusalem at the traditional reception in honor of the serving ambassadors in Israel and honorary consuls who do not have embassies in Israel.
It was a great honor for me to come to the President's House on behalf of the State of the Marshall Islands as a friend of Israel and to meet the Honorable President of the State of Israel, Yitzhak Herzog, and the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz.
In his speech, the president connected the ambassadors to what is happening in Israel and praised Israel's 76 years as a miracle while placing special emphasis on the Israeli abductees who are held captive by Hamas.
It is not trivial in times of war to see all the ambassadors of the United States, France, Italy, Holland, Great Britain and many more countries who arrived at the President's house, Yitzhak Herzog and the first lady, Michal Herzog, who together with the head of the ceremony at the Foreign Ministry, the ambassador, Gil Hashakal, did so modestly especially while mentioning the abductees at any given moment.
The Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the issue of the abductees and Israel's desire for peace while emphasizing the strength of the State of Israel.
