The Israeli Ambassador to the Pacific Island States, Roi Rosenblit, presented his credentials today

The Israeli Ambassador to the Pacific Island States, Roi Rosenblit, presented his credentials today to the President of the Marshall Islands, Hilda Heine, at an official ceremony held in the capital, Majuro. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, shortly after the Marshall Islands gained independence from the United States in 1987, the countries have enjoyed excellent ties and extensive cooperation.

Over the years, Israel has assisted the Marshall Islands with desalination technologies to combat prolonged droughts, medical missions of ophthalmologists and nephrologists, and the establishment of an Israeli poultry farm that operated in the country for years.

Ambassador Rosenblit thanked the President and her government for the strong friendship between the countries and expressed appreciation for the Marshall Islands' consistent support for Israel in the international arena. President Heine emphasized the great importance of the cooperation and requested that Israel continue to assist her country in various fields. Both sides expressed their gratitude to Honorary Consuls Ran Rahav and Charles Domnick for their contributions to advancing the relations between the two countries.
