Marshall Islands Appoints New Roving Ambassador for Key International Partnerships

Swearing-In of H.E. as Roving Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the North Pacific (Micronesia), ROK, and the State of Israel.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is pleased to announce the appointment and swearing in of His Excellency Mr. Sherwood Tibon as the Republic of the Marshall Islands' Roving Ambassador to the North Pacific (Micronesia), the Republic of Korea (ROK), and the State of Israel.

In his capacity as Roving Ambassador, Mr. Tibon will support the Republic of the Marshall Islands' foreign policy priorities by strengthening diplomatic relations, advancing strategic partnerships, and promoting the interests of the Marshall Islands across the North Pacific region and with key international partners. His appointment reflects the confidence placed in him to represent the values, aspirations, and resilience of the Marshallese people.

The Ministry extends its sincere congratulations to Ambassador-designate Tibon and looks forward to his contributions in further enhancing the Republic of the Marshall Islands' bilateral and regional engagements.
